No real information has been posted regarding the latest update to Colloquy, however the 2.1 release has been in beta/nightly stage for some time now, and offers a very nice interface lift over many other improvements and fixes.

For anyone new to IRC on the Mac, I'd recommend Colloquy as a good place to start.
